MOSCOW, July 30. /TASS/. St. Petersburg (19,034 rubles) and Nizhny Novgorod (average receipt of 12,400 rubles) turned out to be the leaders in total hotel service payments in the first half of 2026. This is reported in a study by Russian Standard Bank.
According to the study, the top cities also included Moscow (average receipt – 11,551 rubles), Kazan (6,547 rubles), and Voronezh (average receipt – 4,928 rubles).
Among the leading cities by total restaurant payments in the first half of 2026 are Moscow (average receipt – 2,305 rubles), St. Petersburg (average receipt – 2,476 rubles), Nizhny Novgorod (1,967 rubles), Kazan (1,827 rubles), and Sochi (2,120 rubles).
The study notes that in the first half of 2026, the cities with the largest number of payments for recreation center services (fishing, sports, tourism, etc.) were: Moscow (average receipt – 1,975 rubles), Kazan (4,081 rubles), St. Petersburg (1,698 rubles), Nizhny Novgorod (3,549 rubles), and Ivanovo (3,147 rubles).
The study examined data from Russian Standard Bank's acquiring network in the first half of 2026 and 2025 in the categories of “hotels,” “restaurants,” and “recreation centers.”
