Tunisia would like more tourists from Russia to come to the republic. This was stated by the TASS interim chargé d'affaires of the Tunisian embassy in the Russian Federation Beshir Langar.
"Of course, we would like more Russian tourists to come to Tunisia," he noted.
According to the diplomat, there are now "two direct flights a week from Moscow and four flights a week from St. Petersburg to Tunisia." The problem today is the availability of airplanes and the ability of [tourism] companies to rent them,' added Langar.
In 2025, the number of Russian tourists visiting Tunisia reached 50 thousand people, having increased almost three times compared to 2024.Since 2014, citizens of the Russian Federation can enter and stay in Tunisia for up to 3 months without visa.
